Season 1, Episode 6 – Speculating on public education and work from anywhere

In this episode, I’m inspired by the previous episode on the Future of Travel and speculate on an idea for public education in the work from anywhere future.

As usual, I scratch the surface in the episode.

A wide range of options will be available, beginning with Seattle and Austin-based companies such as Starbucks, Tableau, Microsoft, Amazon, and others.

To preserve the equitable nature of this district, job opportunities included in the district program include retail, support staff and similar levels, not just executive and upper management.

Transportation between Seattle and Austin will be provided by district, unless otherwise arranged. Picture the Hogwarts express but between Seattle and Austin

Children of all grade will be provided transportation from home to school during the school term.

Parents will be provided the transportation of their choice and need, no need to have private transportation. Let the district do the work.

Housing arrangements can be facilitated by the district. Options include:

Single family house
