Season 1, Episode 9 – Speculating on Affordable Housing with Designer and Futurist Chad Phillips

This is the second episode in a series on Civic Futures where we talk about the future of affordable housing. I spoke with designer and futurist Chad Phillips about some of the global and local signals and trends we’re seeing.

Chad also shares his novel approach to addressing affordable housing shortages. His design-oriented approach for new affordable housing construction follows us throughout our lives. Through clean aesthetics, modern design, and modular construction, his design could inspire residential developers to create accessible, equitable, healthy, safe and affordable housing while streamline housing development around the world.
